My research interests are fairly broad, ranging from issues of lexical access in bilinguals and second language learners, to lexical development and the influence of different languages on each other, to individual differences in second language learning. I also am interested in the way various disciplines (neuroscience, psychology, and linguistics) approach these problems and how these approaches can be integrated.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking and baking, reading, hiking, and doing Zumba. I also spend a lot of time on the road visiting my fiancé, who is a doctoral student at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester.
