My new paper with Liang (Marc's graduate student) and Marc has been submitted to ArXiv. This 32-page-long paper is very formal, and actually the first paper of mine which does not include any figure. With 172 equations, we provide the new sets of basis functions for scalar, vector and tensor beyond usual Fourier basis. These basis functions are egenfunction of total-angular-momentum, hence called TAM waves, and is natural to describe observables on the full sky. No need to apply the mysterious (at least to me) "eth" operators! ;) Once you read through section VI, where we provide an example of how to calculate the lensing power sepctrum, I am sure that you will be convinced!

I've posted yet another paper with Fabian to ArXiv. Title of that paper is Cosmic Rulers, and I am the second ruler. ;) In this paper, we present six observables from generic metric perturbations provided that we have an accurate measurement of the shape of, otherwise spherical, cosmics rulers. Our expression is general, covariant and gauge-invariant. Also, they are valid on the full sky!

I've just uploaded my paper with Marc to ArXiv. Title of that paper is Clustering fossils from the early universe. Here, we suggest a new method of detecting a signature from the fluctuating extra degrees of freedom in the early universe. If there was a non-negligible bispectrum of two inflaton field and one extra degrees of freedom in the early universe, this imprints a signature in the off-diagonal power spectrum. We construct an optimal estimator of such correlation under a null hypothesis. It turns out that we need a huge volume to detect the primordial tensor perturbation (and such a large volume may be achieved from detection of the fluctuation in 21cm intensity). But the new method is very charming as it can set up a roburst upper-bound of the fluctuation amplitude of primordial vector-like and tensorial fields, which is impossible to detect otherwise.
