TEACHING:
I have taught a wide variety of courses over time--from American politics to research methods to public policy. I view myself as a generalist, who tries to synthesize knowledge from different areas within the discipline of political science--and across disciplines as well. In this manner, I hope to enrich both my teaching and my research. Courses that I especially enjoy teaching include Introduction to American Politics, political institutions (legislative and judicial processes), political behavior, state politics, public policy (especially educational policy), among others. Syllabi from the following courses can be accessed by clicking on the course name:
P ADM 572 (Institutions) (Course Syllabus)
P ADM 573 (Policy Analysis) (Course Syllabus)
PL SC 1 (American Politics) (Course Syllabus)
