Loran
Illysi
Loran Illysi was taught the art of music by his mother, before she and
his father were brutally murdered by bandits under the banner of
the tyrant Baron Exxtor. Adopted by a mixed elven and human
family, he learned the merchant trade and an appreciation of wine.
His travels took him north where he found a job at a fine tavern
between Camlingen and Portefolk named the The Sign of the Jester.
There he would meet the secretive Dras, the half-elven Arlen, the
fast-talking gnome Olwyn and the stalwart dwarf Jorth. The unlikely
group would travel to Camlingen, adding to it's numbers Garth, mighty
Paladin of Canto, and take on a mission for Lord Myrax. On this
mission, the group would be enhanced by the lovely Wynne, a priestess
of Idus. Come read about the adventures of this unlikely, but effective

The
Game
Journey
into Darkness is
a Dungeons & Dragons game, being run over E-Mail. It is truly
a wondrous experience and one I consider myself very fortunate to have
gotten a part in. Check out the JID homepage, especially if you are thinking
about running or playing in an E-Mail game. This is a great example
of what all GM's should shoot for, and what all players should look for!
The
Bard
Loran Illysi has begun the hard road of a Bard,
an entertainer in a rough world. But instead of just narrating the
stories of legends, Loran seeks them out. His new friendships with
the other members of the "Jester Party" are due in part to his great respect
for their individual abilities and the recognition that there is something
very special about the group, something he's only heard of in tales and
songs. From the day that his parents were killed and his two brothers
taken away from him, this Bard has dedicated his life to making sure that
the lands become safer, for the time that he himself might want to raise
a family. But those days are far off, and this handsome musician
takes comfort in beautiful ladies, a steady diet of ale and bread and the
occasional wine, of which he will only drink of the cream of the crop.
