William Damion Bigos, Ph.D.

Dr. Bill Bigos is an educational professional with a variety of experiences in his 30+ year career. He has been a Teacher, School Psychologist, Assistant Superintendent, Director of Administrative Services for an Intermediate Unit, and District Superintendent. He also has worked as a Counselor/Therapist and as an Instructor at the College and University level. Since retiring from the Superintendency in 1998, he was on the faculty at York College, Penn State York and Harrisburg Area Community College as an adjunct professor, and joined The Commonwealth College of PSU in 2001 to deliver the Masters Program in Teaching and Curriculum to students at the Beaver, New Kensington, Dubois and Shenango Campuses. He previously taught at Duquesne University and Robert Morris College.

Bill lives with his wife Dr. Linda Bigos, Superintendent of East Pennsboro School District (and their five cats) in Hershey, PA. His passions and interests include cigars and cigar memorabilia, wines, culinary pursuits, and his red ’89 Corvette Convertible.
