About me

I am a Chowla postdoc in the Department of Mathematics at Penn State and work with Prof Diane Henderson. My research interests include analytical and numerical aspects of partial differential equations, particularly those describing surface gravity waves. I also work at the Pritchard Laboratory where I try to test mathematical models against real data. For a more detailed survey of my research interests, see my research summary.

Prior to joining Penn State, I was a graduate student at the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Washington, Seattle. I received my Ph.D. in 2012 in Applied Mathematics under the supervision of Bernard Deconinck. Prior to that, I did my MS in Mechanical Engineering at Arizona State University under the guidance of Don Boyer, and my BE in Mechanical Engineering at Anna University.
