Reducing Web 2.0 Noise
Thought provoking article from Robert Scoble: The noise reduction system. His one comment is that "We can try to swim in all the noise and soak it in." I agree with this. There are days when I do this, like now. There are days when I just delete all the Tweets and RSS feeds.

In the comments page, http://friendfeed.com/e/15532c9a-a8c9-3e81-f922-cb14e15ae61f, Louis Gray says "This conversation is a recurring theme here. We could talk all day about "noise" or "fractured comments", but this is the new way of the Web, period. The smart content owners will adjust. Those who want new tech to act "the old way" are going to be less relevant over time."
Tech changes. People need to adapt or retire. I only need to last another 15 years.

Louis Gray is so right. If we do not supply information because there is "too much information" then we are definitely going to be left out. We need to be doing more in my opinion about being relevant. Same-old-same-old with new tools is not going to help. Being open and responsive is key. We got to "be the ball" more.
Thanks for the link. I am saving Louis Gray quote for further educational efforts.
