First-year students that enroll at Penn State Brandywine are selected to join the Cooper Honors Program by the Admissions Office. Students are selected who meet criteria such as high SAT scores (a minimum of a combined score of 1200 on the math and verbal (not writing)) and strong high school averages. Students that do not meet the SAT criteria but feel they would benefit strongly from being in the honors program and feel they can make a strong contribution to the program may apply through this application (MS Word document).  The completed application should be emailed to honors@brandywine.psu.edu.  The early decision deadline is March 1st.  Reviews of applications will continue until seats are filled.

Students not invited or decide not to join the Cooper Program upon entry to Penn State Brandywine may apply through the Continuing Student Application at the end of the freshman year.

Students interested in joining the Schreyer Honors College can apply for a first-year admission or junior-gate admission. The first-year admission application is completed at the time a student applies to Pennsylvania State University (view details).

Students currently enrolled at Penn State Brandywine should contact honors coordinator Dr. Laura Guertin to overview eligibility and expectations of being a Schreyer Scholar.

Deadline for receipt of application material:
June 1st for fall semester, January 1st for spring semester
