The honors programming and course theme for the 2007-2008 academic year is

Changes in Climate.

What does “Changes in Climate” mean?
Certainly, the phrase “climate change” invokes thoughts of global warming, greenhouse gases, etc. But our theme will focus on more than the environmental discussion. Changes are occurring all the time in political climate, economic climate, social climate… the changes are endless in all fields.

Why “Changes in Climate” as a theme?
The campus is adopting the theme of climate change and focusing on the environment. The Honors Program is expanding upon the theme to connect to our honors mission and objective of encouraging a more civic and global perspective.
