GEOSC 040 - The Sea Around Us

This general oceanography course that examines the beaches to the deepest depths of the ocean. Areas of focus include the formation of waves, tides, and the current state of oceanographic exploration. Students are required to go on a fieldtrip to Cape Henlopen State Park, DE, to research the spatial and temporal distribution of beach profiles.
