In the summer of '07 I joined POE as an intern with the IT and Business Systems department. Even though I was only an intern, I was single handedly tasked with re-designing the entire corporate site and redefining the UI for their online shipment tools. I am proud to say that even after two years, POE haven't found it necessary to change the site design or the UI layout/behavior. Visit the Pitt Ohio Express site for a 'live demo' of my work. At the end of my internship period with POE, I was invited to join their full-time team as an inhouse Designer and Flash Developer. In addition to supervising the successful launch of the redesigned site and its maintenance, I developed several Flash based marketing messages for the home page.
