Nanoparticles and Nanoporous Materials for Environment and Energy Applications. Sydney, Australia

Location: Swiss-Grand Hotel at Bondi Beach, Sydney, Australia

Announcement:
A 3-day Workshop is being held in Sydney Australia for prominent scientists and engineers to discuss cutting edge issues and technologies associated with advanced nanomaterials, particularly on nanoparticles and nanoporous materials for sustainable environment and energy applications.

About the Workshop:
Nanoparticles and nanoporous materials are an exciting new branch of nanoscale science and technology. Current research shows their proclivity for improved properties and unique functionalities, including high surface area, nanosize and quantum confinement effects, ordered porosity, and high adsorbing/sensing abilities. This workshop will focus exclusively on the latest advances in nanostructured materials including:

- Synthesis of Nanomaterials
- Nanomaterials Manufacture
- Environmental Applications of Nanotechnology
- Nanotechnology for Energy Sourcing and Utilizations
- Other applications of Nanostructured Materials
- Nanomaterials Production and Significance: What Lies Ahead?

Seminar sessions by invited prominent national and international speakers will be followed by forums for discussion of current issues concerning state of the art nanotechnology. There will be a panel discussion in the Workshop, during which invited speakers will discuss the available resources for establishing international research collaboration and networking in the US, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
