Applications

Ever since 1991, after Sumio Iijima used a high-resolution transmission electron microscopy to observe carbon nanotubes, did researchers realize the major benefits and impacts that carbon nanotubes have. The following is a short list of some of the major applications that single walled nanotubes (SWNT) fit under.

1. Energy Storage
2. Molecular Electronics
3. Nanoprobes and Nanosensors

All of the applications mentioned above will be examined in more detail, but as for right now I'm still gathering information on each application.
