What is Cinergía? 

Cinergía refers to a filmic, cinephilic synergy (from Greek synergos working together).  The term represents the collaborative spirit of our investigation into Hispanic film.  This site is dedicated to facilitating serious scholarly work in Hispanic film studies.

¿Qué es Cinergía?

Cinergía se refiere a una sinergía fílmica, cinéfila (viene del griego synergos, trabajando juntos). El término representa el espíritu colaborativo de nuestra investigación del cine hispánico.  Este sitio es dedicado a facilitar el proyecto académico de estudios del cine hispánico. 

Who is Cinergía? 

Cinergía was created and is maintained by Sophia A. McClennen, Associate Professor Pennsylvania State University, with the help of scholars and students of Hispanic cinema.  As is the case with most websites, much information was provided by others.  In sections which were especially created for Cinergía contact information is provided on the contributors, but you can contact Sophia A. McClennen with questions at any time.  We welcome your contributions: contact us with suggestions for site development, links, or just to chat about film.

Sophia A. McClennen, Assoc. Professor Pennsylvania State University, creó y mantiene este sitio con la ayuda de estudiantes e investigadores del cine hispánico.  Como es el caso con muchos sitios de la red, mucha información vino de otras fuentes.  En las secciones creadas especialmente para Cinergía hemos incluído información para contactarse con el contribuidor, pero siempre puede ponerse en contacto con Sophia A. What is the language of Cinergía?

Cinergía is bilingual.  Some sections include English and Spanish, but most are in one or the other.  We understand and appreciate that this may be frustrating for some of our visitors.  We hope to have a fully bilingual site at some point in the future.

¿Cuál es el idioma de Cinergía? 

Cinergía es bilingue.  Algunas secciones son en inglés y español, pero la mayoría es en uno o el otro.  Entendemos y sentimos que esto pueda causar problemas para algunos de nuestros visitantes.  Esperamos tener un sitio completamente bilingue en el futuro.
