Rakka's halo had trouble sticking at first, so some wire was required to fix it on. Her hair and halo are plagued by static electricity, which proves to be a great source of cuteness.
Rakka maintains a constant desire to find out where she came from, and who she was. This is something that the other Haibane seem to have gotten over...

Reki once shared the same room as Nemu, but something happened where they became separated. Given Reki found Rakka's cocoon and was there when she was born Reki cares very much for Rakka. In fact Rakka stayed in Reki's room at first in the same bed that Reki first cleaned Rakka's wings. A bit stubborn, she has great confidence in herself. She has a thing against crows. The dream inspired name for Kana means 'river fish' from where she was swimming. kuu.png Kuu クウ 空 The youngest of the older group of oldhome, Kuu is a second year Haibane. Bright and cheerful she likes everyone and animal (including crows.) She often felt inferior for being the smallest in the older group, but was still glad Rakka ended up being older. Serious and kind she was responsible for getting Rakka's halo. Her relationship with Reki seems to be mirrored with Reki's relationship with Rakka. midori.png Midori ミドリ Midori is a Haibane of the waste factory. Her dream inspired name means green. hyouko.png Hyouko ヒョウコ i氷湖 One of the Haibane from the waste factory, and he apparently had a relationship with Reki at one time. He hides his wings and halo when in public. His name means icy lake. dai.png Dai ダイ A Haibane hatched in the waste factory, Dai stays in OldHome for a bit... His name means big. washi.png Washi ワシ 話師 As the representative of the CFF Washi is the only one allowed to speak. He provides the town with outside trading, carries a staff, and is mysterious. Washi is apparently not his name but a title, and washi means 'the revered speaker.' sumika.png Sumika スミカ Sumika is currently pregnant, and she works in the library. She is Nemu's friend and has always been there for her. Her name means dwelling, house, residence, or den. oyakata.png Oyakata オヤカタ Kana's boss at the Clock tower in town, his name is not given. Oyakata means boss, or master.
