Rakka

Rakka ラッカ (落下)
Rakka the most recent of the Haibane born into oldhome, (1th year)
Rakka's halo had trouble sticking at first, so some wire was used until it did. Rakka's hair/halo is plagued by static electricity The Halo also smells
like cake which is apparently Hikari's doing...
She maintains a constant desire to find out where she came from, who she was; something that the other Haibane seem to have gotten over...
The dream inspired name for Rakka means falling from when she was falling from the sky, though maybe it should be crow...

Reki

Reki レキ (礫)
Reki is the second eldest of the oldhome Haibane (7th years) She takes care of the youngest group of Haibane
She once shared the same room as Nemu, but something happened where they separated. Reki cares very much for Rakka, given she found Rakka's cocoon and was there when she was born. Rakka stayed in Reki's room at first, in the same bed that Reki first cleaned Rakka's wings.
The dream inspired name for Reki means gravel from when she was walking down a gravel road.

Kana

Kana カナ (河魚)
Kana is a third year Hai, she (yes she) works in the clock tower in town and has been trying to fix the big clock in oldhome.
A bit stubborn, she has great confidence in herself. She has a thing against crows, seeing them as scavengers.
The dream inspired name for Reki means river fish from where she was swimming.

Kuu

Kuu クウ (空)
The youngest of the older group of oldhome Kuu is a second year Haibane. Bright and cheerful she likes everyone and animal (including crows)
She often felt inferior for being the smallest in the older group, but was glad Rakka ended up being older.
The dream inspired name for Kuu means sky from where she was flying through the sky.

Hikari

Hikari ヒカリ (光)
Hikari is a 4th year Hainane, she works in the bakery in the town. Serious and kind she was responsible for getting Rakka's halo.
The dream inspired name for Hikari means light.

Nemu

Nemu ネム (眠)
Nemu is the eldest being a 9th year Haibane, she works in the library filing books delivered by the CFF.
The dream inspired name for Nemu is sleep from where she slept in her dream.

Kuramori

Kuramori クラモリ
Kuramori was the 'head' of old home back when Reki and Nemu were first born. Her relationship with Reki, seems to be mirrored with Reki's relationship with Rakka.

Midori

Midori ミドリ
Midori is a Haibane of the waste factory.
Her dream inspired name means green.

Hyouko

Hyouko ヒョウコ (氷湖)
One of the Haibane from the Waste Factory, he apparently had a relationship with Reki at one time. He hides his wings and halo when in public.
His name means icy lake.

Dai

Dai ダイ
A Haibane of the waste factory, Dai stays in OldHome for a bit...
His name means big.

Washi

Washi ワシ (話師)
The representative of the CFF he is the only one allowed to speak. He provides the town with outside trading. He carries a staff, and is mysterious -_- woooo weee ooooh ^_^
Washi is apparently not his name but a title, washi means the revered speaker.

Sumika

Sumika スミカ
Nemu's friend, she also works in the library. Currently pregnant, she has always been there for Nemu.
Her name means dwelling, house, residence, or den.

Oyakata

Oyakata オヤカタ
Kana's boss at the Clock tower in town, his name is not given. Oyakata means boss, or master.
Note: The names go Romanization Katakana (Kanji)
