Jay Bathgate, 42, of Bellefonte, passed away Friday, July 17,
2009 at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born Dec. 2,
1966, in Bellefonte, he was a son of Jay R. Bathgate and Sharee
Burris Bathgate, both surviving at home. Jay was a 1984 graduate of Bald Eagle
Area High School. He was a member of the State College Assembly of God. Along
with his parents, he is survived by a brother, Tim Bathgate, of Bellefonte.
Services and burial will be private, at the convenience of the family, with the
Rev. Harry Brotzman officiating. Arrangements are
under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service Inc.,

Andrew P. "Dutch" Stasko,
Jr., 42, of Clarence, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008, at Mount Nittany
Medical Center. Born on June 13, 1966, in Philipsburg, he is the son of Andrew
P. Stasko, of Clarence and Elva J. Collar Stasko, of Moshannon. Dutch is a
1984 graduate from Bald Eagle Area High School. He is a member of the St.
Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Clarence. Dutch is survived by his father
and stepmother, Betty L. Lyons; his mother; two daughters; Kristi L. Summers
(Curtis), of Philipsburg, and Jessica M. Stasko, of
Clarence; one brother, Joseph R. Stasko (Jennifer),
of Blanchard; a stepsister, Brenda L Walker (Darren), of Bellefonte; and one
grandson, Curtis A. Summers, of Philipsburg. He is also survived by two nieces,
two nephews, and numerous aunts and uncles. One son, Andrew P. Stasko III, who passed away on Dec. 6, 1994, preceded Dutch
in death. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, from 7 to 9 p.m.,
at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, 106 W. Sycamore
St., Snow Shoe. Funeral service will held at the
funeral home on Monday, Sept. 22, 2008, at 11 a.m., with Father Robert F. Oravetz officiating. Burial will follow at Askey Cemetery, Snow Shoe Township. In lieu of flowers,
memorial contributions may be made to the Daughenbaugh
Funeral Home, 106. W. Sycamore St., Snow Shoe, PA 16874. (Published
