My name is Dane Jessen; I am originally from Shippensburg, Pennsylvania where I received my high school diploma. During the time I attended high school I was active in several clubs including: key club, quiz bowl, student council, and Students Against Destructive Decisions. I was also competitive in three school sponsored sports including football, track, and cross country. My biggest accomplishment during this time, however, was my achievement of the Eagle Scout Rank in the Boy Scouts of America program. My real world work experience is as follows: from April 2007 to August 2008 I was a middle line cook at Knute’s Pub and Grill; this job is responsible for managing the kitchen while on duty and ensuring that the food is being cooked correctly and on time. In addition I was also responsible for the operation of the dishwasher and the sanitation of the kitchen area. Currently I am a student enrolled in the Pennsylvania State University in the Smeal College of Business. I am pursuing a major in Management, with a double minor in Military Science and Arabic. I am also a cadet of the Nittany Lion Battalion, the universities’ Army ROTC program. In ROTC I am an active member of the Cadet Recruiting Team (CRT) and the Lion’s Guard, our drill and ceremony team. |
