Hello and welcome to my personal online portfolio! My name is Daniel Hubner and I am currently in my second year as an undergraduate student at Penn State University. Browse through my e-Portfolio to learn more about me!
A Brief Bio...
I grew up in a quaint, but diverse little town in South Plainfield, New Jersey. I spend all of my summers in Montauk, New York, where my family has a summer home. I have one younger brother who is fifteen years old. Around the time that I was in fifth grade my brother was diagnosed with Leukemia, so that hit our family pretty hard. With the help of friends, family, and the support of our community we were able to get through that tough three or four years and I am glad to say that my brother is completely fine today. On a lighter note, going through middle school and high school I was a pretty good student. I took all honors classes and excelled in the majority of them. On deciding where I wanted to go to college, it was really up in the air for me. Being an avid surfer, I was thinking about going out to California. I most likely would have went to UC Santa Barbara over Penn State if the business program here wasn’t so good. However I am positive I made the right choice by coming to Penn State. I love everything about this great university. Everything from the classes that I am taking, to the overall social atmosphere, to the spectacular football weekends, feels like the 100% right fit for me. Eventually I know I will have to go out into the real world and make a living for myself. I am confident that Penn State will adequately prepare me for life on my own. I can honestly say that I do not know what I want to do for a career once I leave Penn State. I am currently studying finance and my plan as of this moment is to find a job on Wall Street in the future. This plan is subject to a lot of changing as I really have no concrete idea of what to do when I grow up. If my life is interesting enough you can check out more in the About Me page.
