Making new friends is probably the easiest part of being a college student. Everywhere you go there are diverse groups and many opportunities to become involved. I have found that making friends that are different from me has been an eye-opening experience. I have learned lots about people from different places than me and also how their life-style differs from mine. Working with people from these different backgrounds has been interesting and more fun than challenging. Overall, I was surprised that making friends at college was so easy and have found that I've met some really great friends.
