Welcome to Chris Nowotarski's E-Portfolio

CHRIS NOWOTARSKI

Hello and welcome!

I am currently a graduate student at Penn State University pursuing a PhD in Meteorology. My research is mainly concerned with supercell thunderstorms and how they interact with convective boundary layer heterogeneities. Most of my work involves numerical modeling of storms, however, I have experience in the field as a mobile mesonet driver for the Second Verification of the Origins of Rotation in Tornadoes Experiment (VORTEX2).

Hopefully the links below will enable you to get a greater understanding of who I am and where I have been, but if you would like to learn more please feel free to contact me!
