  • January- We hosted a Student Seminar concerning employment at The Atherton Hotel in State College
  • January- We hosted our Annual Happy Valley Chapter Bowl-A-Thon held at Northland Bowl in State College
  • January- Our members participated in the Washington Seminar in Washington, D.C.
  • February- Our members participated in an event on the Shippensburg University Campus to help raise Disability Awareness
  • February- We helped promote the use of Braille at The OVR Braille Literacy Celebration
  • March- We hosted a demonstration of how to make Ice Cream with Liquid Nitrogen for our Federation President
  • April- We helped one of our members attend an event hosted at our National Center
  • May- We discussed with and brought concerns of blind and visually impaired bus riders to the attention of CATA
  • May & June- We helped bring the concerns of the blind concerning accessible voting matters to the attention of the Board of Elections of both Blair and Centre Counties
  • July- The NFB National Convention was held in Dallas, TX
  • September- We brought the concerns of the blind and of persons with disabilities to the attention of The Airport Authority
  • October- We helped potential new members attend their first NFB event held in Baltimore, MD
  • October- We manned a Literature Table and Braille Awareness event at the Nittany Mall as a part of our Meet the Blind Month activities
  • October- We hosted a Science Seminar entitled "Teaching Science to the Blind and Visually Impaired" on the Penn State, University Park Campus
  • November- We helped to bring CATA and the Airport Authority together to discuss the expansion of the Centre Line and Centre Ride Services to the State College and University Park Airports
  • November- We helped our members attend The Pennsylvania State Convention in Harrisburg
  • December- We held our Annual Christmas Party
