Academic Advisor, Premedicine Program (11/93 - Present)

* Serve as academic advisor for first and second year students in the Eberly College of
   Science who have indicated Premedicine as their intended major.
* Advise students about registration, course offerings, educational policies and
   regulations, and admistrative procedures.
* Inform students about research opportunities within the college and about
   cooperative education and summer internship programs.
* Coordinate the Peer Mentoring Program for freshman Premed students.
* Assist with the Summer Freshman, Testing, Counseling, and Advising Program.
* Advise, counsel or refer students, in general, who come to the Advising Center with
   questions about preparation for the health professions .

Presented the Penn State 1994 Outstanding Contribution Award for Recognition for Efforts in
