ATTENDANCE

Estimated 15-20 attendees, with an inter-disciplinary background, ranging from application domain experts (e.g. healthcare, disaster management, etc.), to technical experts (e.g. security for ubiquitous systems), and software engineers and researchers both from academia and industry.
Acceptance ratio is not to exceed 70%.
Registration will be open to all interested parties.

PUBLICITY

Besides the usual publicity through websites and mailing lists (DBWORLD, WikiCFP, etc…) we’ll keep with the proposed theme of the workshop and will publicize it extensively through social networking sites, e.g. LinkedIn, twitter, etc.
We plan to advertise the workshop more widely than the UbiComp community as well, in hopes of drawing in perspectives from researchers in mobile system development or social computing who might not otherwise attend UbiComp. We plan to engage colleagues from IBM China and India Research Labs to further expand the attendance from the industry domain.
