Every Sunday we have an 18-hole Skins Game starting at 12:00 noon. There are several different changes to the Sunday Game starting this year (2011). We have reserved tee times from 12:00-12:50, enough for 24 players. You will receive a Skins Game reminder email each week. However, there are some other changes: Sign up and check in procedure You must sign up with the pro shop (238-7600) by 6:00 pm Friday Unused tee times will be freed for the public Friday night You must check in at the pro shop on Sunday and pay them $10 Tee choice, handicap adjustment and eligibility You may play the gold tees if you meet the eligibility (see below) If you play the gold tees, look up your gold tee handicap and then subtract 3 You must meet one of the following to have gold tee eligibility: You are at least 70 years old You are at least 65 years old with a handicap 6 or higher You are at least 60 years old with a handicap 11 or higher Scoring Scorers should put last names and handicaps being used by each player Player's gross score on each hole is all that is required from the scorer Scorers must hand in score cards to the pro shop Skins will be computed by the pro shop Game Format Skins are won if a player has the "only" lowest (net) score on a hole of all the players in the game. The one exception is that a "natural" lowest score on a hole beats the same "net" score. Thus, a natural birdie beats a net birdie, but a net eagle beats a natural birdie. This concept is generally referred to as "naturals beat net". Each player contributes $10 prior to play. A skin payout is the amount of the total purse divided by the number of skins.
