    Tie-Breaks, Seeding

This is the first time we have to deal with tied teams who may have not played each other. The following general rules for 2 or more tied teams (i.e., same number of points) will be applied both to making the playoffs and seeding within the playoffs. These are applied in order.

    1. Most wins, 8-0-7 beats 7-2-6 (16 points)
    2. Best record, head-to-head, if possible
    3. Best record against highest-seeded, common opponent
    4. Best record against second highest-seeded, common opponent, and so on
    5. If more than 2 teams are tied and more than 1 team is needed, a first team is found using the above rules. That team is then removed from the group to find the second team, and so on.
