And now for something completely different.... Back where our ship was docked that day, some geese were sunning themselves in the canal, and one pair had three little goslings with them. (I don’t know for sure what kind of geese these are, but a coworker did a little poking around on the Web and thinks they may be Pomeranian geese, a domestic breed found in that part of the world.)
