The City Hall building on the Grote Markt Square in Antwerp. (Yes, it’s spelled “Markt”; people in the Low Countries don’t seem to need that “e.”) Someone told me that the flags represent countries that have an embassy in the city, but I’m skeptical about that, given that Antwerp isn’t a capital city and thus wouldn’t have embassies. Clearly I need to do a little research on this.
