Newfoundland—July 2004

Here are some photos from a Natural Habitat Adventures trip called “Wildlife of Newfoundland,” from July 1–10, 2004.

• St. John’s
• Cape St. Mary’s, home to amazing colonies of seabirds
• The Trinity–Elliston area (Trinity is where The Shipping News was filmed, and nearby Elliston is a good place to see puffins)
• Quirpon Island, a lovely and remote island off the northwest coast, along “Iceberg Alley”
• Bay Bulls and the Witless Bay Ecological Refuge, where we had the best puffin- and whale-watching of the trip
