Exam 1/P Review Sessions

Fall 2011

ü  Exam review sessions will be held Monday nights from 7:00-9:00pm beginning September 26th and following the schedule below.

ü  These sessions will focus on the November sitting for Exam 1/P. Any students planning to take Exam 1/P are strongly encouraged to attend.

v September 26, 2011—Introduction, Actex Sections 0, 1, 2 (Algebra/Calculus Review, Basic Probability, Conditional Probability and Independence)

v October 3, 2011—Actex Sections 3, 4, 5 (Permutations/Combinations, Probability Distributions, Expectation and Distribution Parameters)

v October 10, 2011—Actex Section 6, 7 (Discrete Distributions and Continuous Distributions)

v October 17, 2011—Actex Section 8 (Joint, Marginal, and Conditional Distributions)

v October 24, 2011—Actex Section 9 (Transformations of Random Variables)

v October 31, 2011—Actex Section 10 (Risk Management Concepts)
