Course details (updated March 16)

Because we are now conducting lecture remotely, I will be (trying) to record lectures for the benefit of anybody who is unable to attend at the usual time. By turning on your microphone or video link, you are implicitly agreeing to be recorded. If you don’t want to be recorded, you can still communicate with my through the chat dialog, and I will be happy to answer your questions. I won’t check email during lecture, but you can always contact me that way at other times also.

Final presentations

Final presentations will be given the last week of class. Presentations should be about 15 minutes long, and teach your classmates about a scientific tool. These will obviously be over zoom, I suggest using a combination of PDF/Powerpoint and/or Spyder/Jupyter for preparing your presentation talk.
