The Review of Communication a publication of the National Communication Association |
|
submitting
manuscripts online to Rapid Review |
We are seeking reviewers for the books in the following lists. Some of these books we have received in the office and are able to mail directly to selected reviewers. When we invite an author to review a book that we have not received in the office, we request that the reviewer obtain a copy directly from the publisher (or from a library or bookseller). In any case, we accept only invited reviews; please correspond with the editor before submitting a review to the journal. Most of our reviews are written by members of the National Communication Association holding the relevant terminal degree in their field, or in some cases advanced doctoral students. Neither NCA membership nor identification with the communication disciplines is a requirement for participation in the work of the journal. The Review of Communication is an interdisciplinary journal, and when appropriate our reviewers include members of related disciplines, who are invited to join this project. If you are interested in writing a review of any of the following books, please send an email note to the editor at review_of_communication@newton.la.psu.edu with the citation of the book and a brief description of your qualifications -- highest degree, areas of research interest, and so on. Before writing to nominate yourself as a book reviewer, please read the "for authors" page on this site, including the section on conflicts of interest. Potential reviewers are also invited to suggest for review books that are not on these lists. If you are interested in writing a review for The Review of Communication,
please check these lists frequently; we expect to add new books every
week.
