This YouTube video (while a prank) does highlight some of the issues with traditional lecture courses and how much we actually consider teaching/learning in higher education.

In addition, we need to also ensure that our use of new technologies (blogs, podcasts, wikis) don't simply replicate the lecture model, but instead find ways to use technology to extend learning and make it happen differently.

I've set up my feedburner feed, which is at http://feeds.feedburner.com/psu/Fvyk. Now how do I get that out, I wonder...

I've moved all my entries from the Teachnology blog powered by Blogger--now I just need to get the styles set up and get Feedburner working. I like how this system let me "back date" my entries to the original posts, too...
