Dr. Potlakayala’s area of specialization is in cell and molecular biology, plant-microbe interactions, plant tissue culture and transformation, and functional genomics.
Research interests include: biofuels, plant vaccines, genetic engineering of disease-resistant crops, signal transduction mechanisms, regulation of gene expression, proteomics and cancer research.
