This was one of my favorite parts of the course. Each class member was directed to take the Keirsey Temperament sorter in an effort to help students learn more about themselves. I found that I am an IDEALIST, classified among Ghandi and Princess Diana to name a select few.

The Keirsey sorter can also be used on a professional level where companies can help to promote team effectiveness, match individuals to careers, increase communication within teams, and reduce work conflict. All this based on a personality test and interpreting the results!

There are 4 temperaments that emobdy different characteristics. They are:

• The Idealists
• The Guardians
• The Artisans
• The Rationals

The class was then instructed to write a paper on his or her specific temperament and how this temperament interacts with the others. It was a very interesting and eye-opening experience. My paper, and temperament, can be found below.
