Student Affairs Work Experience

As a new student at Wittenberg University I had planned to major in History and with minor in secondary education to become a high school history teacher.  During my sophomore year I decided this career choice was no longer want I wanted to pursue.  After speaking with several Student Affairs professionals who served as advisors to me I realized that going into Student Affairs was exactly what I wanted to do with my life.  I kept my History major and decided to apply to graduate school for College Student Affairs. 

I had two experiences at Wittenberg University that gave me experience in the realm of Student Affairs.  I was an employee at the Student Center Information Desk and I was an intern for the office of Student Development for one summer.
