Scott T. Miller
I am currently a research associate (research faculty) at Penn State's Applied Research Lab, in the Computational Methods division. I hold a dual-title as Assistant Professor of Engineering Science and Mechanics. My research focuses on the conceptualization and implementation of robust and efficient simulation tools. The main thrust of my recent work is fluid-structure interactions and nuerical methods with formally high-order accuracy. I have general interests across the broad field of Computational Science and Engineering, including theoretical mechanics across multiple scales, solid and fluid dynamics, failure mechanisms, and scientific software development.
