Step Aerobics: An aerobics class using adjustable platforms to accommodate all intensity levels. Moves and music blend in this three-dimensional fitness class.
Hi/Low Aerobics: An energetic, high-and-low impact class designed to increase endurance and burn fat. Easy to follow, great for beginner, moderate and experienced exercisers.
Muscle Toning: A challenging body-sculpting class that allows participants to use their own resistance, as well as resistance tubes to define and tone the entire body. This class has no aerobic portion.
Core Body Training/Stability Ball Class:
A unique and challenging class focusing on stabilization and strengthening of the torso and pelvic regions using stability balls and other methods. For advanced exercisers.
Basic Weight Training: A class designed to guide participants through a full-body workout using varying sizes of hand weights. This class is designed to replace your strength training session. This class has no aerobic portion.
Butts and Guts: A toning class focusing on the lower body and abdominals. This class has no aerobic portion.
Washboard Abs: A unique and challenging class focusing on stabilization and strength of the abdominal muscles. This class also includes training of the torso and pelvic region.
"Weighted Bar" Classes: Participants are guided through a complete cardio workout using a foam covered weighted bar. Larger muscle groups are targeted for greater calorie burning. This class is a great way to squeeze maximum workout into minimum time.
Kick-boxing Aerobics:
A class that integrates kicks and punches into a high-intensity, low-impact cardiovascular workout. If you don’t "want to dance" this is your class.
Posture, Balance and Flexible Strength: This class uses the principles of Pilates, dance, Yoga, Tai Chi, and kinesthetic stretch to create freedom of movement without causing unnecessary stress or tension in/on the body. Participants will use breath, flow, concentration, control, and centering to achieve flexibility and better alignment/posture.
Mind/Body Exercise: Awaken your body with a unique blend of yoga movements, muscle toning, and aerobics that will energize your body while unifying your mind and spirit.
Yoga: Engage in a physically challenging form of yoga where poses are more athletic. This class will test your balance and concentration while strengthening your core body, and relaxing your mind. Bring your inflexibility to class and we can work on you!
Indoor Cycling: A vigorous cardiovascular workout to music while riding a stationary, fixed-gear bicycle. Your heart will pound and you will sweat more than you ever have before!
Aqua Aerobics: This is not your Granny’s Aquacise! A challenging cardio class taught in the water, a more forgiving environment. This class will improve your cardio conditioning, muscle endurance, and flexibility.
Circuit Class: This class combines elements from all styles of fitness classes and some sport/agility drills. Participants work their way through a pre-determined series of exercise stations designed to challenge different muscle groups.
Pre/Post Natal Fitness: This exercise class is specifically designed with the unique physiological concerns of pre and post natal women in mind.
Senior Fitness: As we age our bodies change in many ways. This class is a complete workout that recognizes the cardiorespiratory, flexibility, muscular and body composition changes of seniors. The exercises are designed to help, in varying degrees, with the functionality of the senior body.
