Taken at an I-85 rest stop near Atlanta, Georgia.
Apparently, some people began handing out religious literature at the rest
stop
when they heard gay men were hooking up at the rest stop. Some travelers
complained about being pestered, but the court upheld their right to hand out
literature, since it was a public spot. I was told that people would board up
the
booths at night, to discourage the preachers from coming back. The rest stop
where this was located was closed before the 1996 Olympics, when a new
shinier rest stop was put in a few miles down the highway.
