- Yama was the first Siberian to qualify for the 1st United States Dog Obedience Classic in March of 1975 held in Glenview, IL. Later the Obedience Classic were divided into Regions where Yama's son Can. Ch. Apparitions Genghis Khan, C.D.X. qualified for the 1980 Eastern Regional.
- Yama obtained his U.D. title within 2 years. and 10 months. Of Yama's 20 qualifying shows he held an average of 195 and placed 16 times of 20 shows.
- Yama is a THREE TIME HIGH IN TRIAL WINNER.
- Yama was rated in the top ten Siberians according to Front & Finish.
- Yama was rated number one Open Dog for two consecutive years with ISHC.
- Yama was used to illustrate the different dog obedience technique's used in a dog training book called "Toward the Ph. D. for Dogs".
