outside a small town called Port Matilda, PA.
APPARITION Siberians began in 1972 when we purchased our first Siberian Husky male, Yama Av Karnik, from Ray & Charon Bauman. I remember as though it were just yesterday Ray saying to me, "You know one Siberian will never be enough." and I thinking "Yes, one Siberian will be just fine. " Obviously, Ray knew something I didn't. At that time we were only interested in having a pet. It didn't take us long to figure out, if we ever hoped to enjoy this fellow, he would need obedience trained. Off to obedience school we went. Yama who later became Yama Av Karnik, U.D. was a very accomplished obedience dog. We used Yama at stud for pick of the litter. What a pick he was Can. Ch. Apparitions Genghis Khan, C.D.X. Over the years, we have enjoyed much success in the Conformation Ring as owner, handler and/or breeder of Best in Show & Best in Specialty Winners, Group Winners and Best of Breed Winners.
