| Benjamin Coal Co. operated two diesel-powered Marion 7400's. Above, one works near Newtonburg. Note the large external radiator. Below, near Westover, the other 7400 takes a step backward. The top seam at this mine is even more shallow that it appears, considering the dragline is positioned on ground that is partially fill. Both photos were taken in the summer of 1969. |
