Hey, my name is Matthew Hracho from Reading, Pennsylvania. I'm a sophomore here at Penn State majoring in Secondary Education. I hope to become a principal one day or possibly go to law school specializing in Litigation.

 
Geography 121 Projects

Project 1
In this project I learned about different ways to represent my hometown of Reading, Pennsylvania. The three coordinate systems that were focused on were Geographic Coordinates, UTM Coordinates, and State Plane Coordinates.

Project 2
This project dealt with two different types of maps: Reference Maps and Thematic Maps. Again the maps are focused on my hometown located in Berks County. The theme I focused on in my Choropleth Map was the number of black or African Americans located in my county. I then compared this data to another county in Pennsylvania.
