    Suhey Named 2nd Team All-State
    Lady Little Lion senior Emily Suhey has been named to the Pennsylvania All-State second team as selected by the Associated Press. The Villanova bound standout joins former State College player Katie Glusko as the second Lion player to make the elite list. Glusko was first team all state in 2002.

    Altoona, Pa., March 30 -- State College seniors Emily Suhey and Kelsey Guth helped the Central PA All Stars defeat their counterparts from Blair County 90-56 in the Altoona Mirror Classic March 28 in a game. played at St. Francis University.
    Suhey scored eight points, collected nine rebounds and gave six assists on the way to earning most valuable player honors while Guth added six points.

    Suhey finished her State College career with 1,518 points, second all-time among players coached by Bethany Irwin. Guth had 767 career points ranking seventh all-time on Irwin's list.
    Suhey was No. 1 in Centre County in scoring averaging 18.2 ppg. She also was the top free throw shooter convering 77 of 95 for .810 percent.
    Guth was No. 3 among the county's top free throw shooters and No. 6 in scoring averaging 12.2 ppg.
