Top returnees for 1999-2000 include: Greg Simpson, a senior, who averaged 10.2 ppg and 4 assists per game. Greg lead the team in minutes played and recieved the team Sportsmanship Award. Greg is from Juniata Valley High School in Alexandria, Pa. Josh Baker averaged 17.3 ppg and 3 assists per game. Josh is from Bishop Guilfoyle High in Altoona, Pa. Josh recieved the Rookie of the Year Award in his first full year as a player at Penn State Altoona. Ronnie Brown will be a sophmore during the 99-2000 season. Ronnie averaged 5.7 points per game with 3 assist per game. Ronnie recieved the Most Improved Player Award. Ronnie went to Atlee High School in Mechanicsville, Va. Aaron Morris from Altoona High. Aaron scored 180 total points last year with an average of of 7.2 per game. Joey Braha from The Hillel School in Deal N.J. scored 44 points in the 1998-1999 campaign. Brian Gallagher from Northern High in Slatington, Pa. chipped in another 28 points for the Cougars last year. Stephen Pituch from Conemaugh Township in Johnstown, Pa. scored 47 points last season. Darcel Bouyer, from Clevland Ohio who went to Chanel High is returning to PSU Altoona after spending time in the military.
