RED (Impressive Red)
Red is a chestnut appendix Quarter Horse. He was 8 in '98 and stands 16 hands. He has an interesting way of "clapping" his lips together that makes everyone laugh. We owned Red for almost 2 years but sold him in '98 to a good home since he wasn't working out with the cavalry. Some horses never adapt to that type of activity. He sure was beautiful though!

SLEEPY (Silent Sleep)
Sleepy was my very first horse I owned. He was a sweet, mellow 18 year old Quarter Horse bay gelding. Unfortunately he got sick the day after I officially bought him. He kept having bouts of colic symptoms every so many days. When he wasn't sick I was happily riding and spoiling him and when he was sick I walked him for hours and did what I could. Within 3-4 weeks he had to be put down due to his strange illness which the vets could not figure out. Colitis was what finally ended his misery. He was sadly missed by many at the barn.
