ANGEL Manual at PSGV...

     Submitting homework via a DropBox.
updated: August, 2004

  Naming Assignments:
First of all you will have to properly name your assignment. There should be a procedure explained at the beginning of class or mentioned in your syllabus.

You should also take advantage and use headers and footers if you are using ANGEL to submit assignments. Make sure you number and place your name or your team's name on your assignment. This cuts down on confusion if assignments are going to be printed out in the future. This will place your name and page number on every page of your assignment.

Submitting Your Assignment:
Once you have properly named your assignment, you will need to locate the appropriate DropBox for the assignment. Keep in mind there is usually a new DropBox for each assignment. So, follow the directions in the assignment description to locate the appropriate DropBox to submit your assignment.

When you are in the DropBox for the assignment, click "Browse" and locate the location where you have saved your assignment. You will also have to give it a "Title," choose the appropriate "File Type" by pulling down on the list and then click "Upload File."

After you have clicked "Upload File" the file you have submitted should appear in a table in the "DropBox." If it is not appearing, you mayb be experiencing a problem.

You should also practice keeping a back-up copy of your assignment. If something goes wrong in the upload process you can check with your teacher and submit the assignment again or in an alternative format.
