It's not always racism

To the Editor:

Kudos to mayor Goreham and professor Matson for giving lie to
Attorney General Holder's absurd claim that we are nation of cowards
when it comes to discussing race in our United States of America.

History will not look kindly on our first African American AG (nor
our senators who confirmed the landshark responsible for the pardons
of Marc Rich and the FALN terrorists at the end of Bill Clinton's
presidency) but contrary to Democratic party talking points not every
bad outcome for blacks is the result of systemic racism.

Congressmen Glenn "GT" Thompson and John Boehner conspire with
President Barack Obama to fund amnesty for millions of low-skilled
illegal immigrants who will compete directly with black and brown
American citizens for scarce entry level jobs and
public services, but not even Leonard Pitts would claim that is
part of white America's war on black bodies.

Sometimes a thug dies not because of the color of his skin, but
because he's a thug. And sometimes our rulers in Washington
betray their oaths to our Constitution, to the detriment of
all citizens, because they are our rulers.
