I have been an amateur astronomer since I was a little kid. I love watching the universe and its never-ending changes. I am owner-operator of Dog-Star Observatory, a small amateur observatory located on the side of Tussey Mountain, near Rock Springs, Pennsylvania. My telescopes include a 10-inch F5 Dobsonian, an 8-inch F6 Dobsonian, a 6-inch F4 RFT Refractor, and a 4-inch Edmunds Astroscan. I have also used various other telescopes at Allegheny Observatory and other places. (The dog is Max.)

I also take astrophotographs. You will see some in the archives.

DSO Drawing Archives

Although I own and reserve copyright - I freely allow these images to be used or copied for any educational purpose - that includes demonstrations, astronomy clubs, hobbiests, publications, etc.

PLEASE NOTE: The drawings are NOT intended to be scientifically accurate. They record, to the best of my meager artistic ability, the moment when photons from that object entered my mind.
