The American Heritage Dictionary of Indo-European Roots
Watkins, Calvert (1985, 2001)
An inexpensive Indo-European root listing, but concordance is for English
only (also Greek and Latin roots). Can be used for Celtic indirectly.
A Dictionary of Selected Synonyms in the Principal Indo-European Languages
Buck, Carl Darling (1949) University of Chicago Press.
This dictionary presents word sets by theme (e.g. animals, parts of body)
in the daughter Indo-European languages. The Celtic languages are typically
cited and some etymologies are given.
